The Secret Garden Cocktail is a refined riff on the Traditional Long Drink: The Gin & Tonic. This stylish spring – fall appropriate cocktail makes use of the juniper forward Navy Strength (114 proof) Empirical Gin, Jack Rudy Tonic Syrup, grapefruit juice & two distinct cocktail bitters: Strongwater Vice Bitters & 18.21 Grapefruit Lavender Bitters, and is served in our favorite glassware, the Nick & Nora.
Nick & Nora
1.5 ounce PostModern Spirits Empirical Gin
0.75 ounce Grapefruit Juice
0.5 ounce Rosehip Syrup
0.5 ounce Jack Rudy Tonic Syrup
2 dash 18.21 Grapefruit Lavender Bitters
2 dash Strongwater Vice Bitters
Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice and shake to chill and dilute. Double strain into a chilled Nick & Nora glass and top with chilled soda water.
The bracing tartness of grapefruit is balanced with the herbal sweetness of the rosehip & tonic syrups
