Cacao Liqueur, Empirical Dry Gin

Named after the 20th Century Express Passenger Train that ran from New York City to Chicago for many decades in the early twentieth century, The Twentieth Century Cocktail was first served in the Café Century, the train’s dining car that would transform into a nightclub after dinner service. This cocktail is a riff on the Corpse Reviver, with Crème de Cacao substituted for orange liqueur. The PostModern Twentieth Century features the boozy, juniper forward Navy Strength Empirical Dry Gin + PostModern Spirits Cacao Liqueur.

Glass:

Nick & Nora

Ingredients:

1 ounce Empirical Gin
1 ounce Cacao Liqueur
0.5 ounce ginger syrup
0.5 ounce aloe water
0.5 ounce lemon juice

Garnish:

Preserved Cherry

Method:

Shake all ingredients with ice. Double strain into a Nick and Nora and garnish with the cherry.

Beautifully balanced gin forward cocktail with subtle citrus + chocolate notes to finish
