This whiskey-based cocktail is the PostModern Spirits riff on the original creation from the Dear Irving Bar. Featuring PostModern Spirits American Single Malt Whiskey + Elderberry Gin Liqueur, the booze forward nature of this cocktail is complemented by the botanical and fruity flavors from the Elderberry Gin Liqueur.

Ingredients:

2 ounce PostModern Spirits Single Malt Whiskey
1 ounce PostModern Spirits Elderberry Gin Liqueur
0.5 ounce Lemon Juice
0.25 Honey Syrup or Demarara Syrup*
Rinse Coupe with Amaro Artemisia

Garnish:

Lemon Twist

Method:

Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail coupe rinsed with Amaro Artemisia.

*Combine 1 cup Demarara sugar with 1 cup water and heat until sugar melts. Cool and store in refrigeration.
