
Grapefruit Gin Gimlet & Tonic

Ingredients:
1.5 ounce PostModern Spirits Empirical Gin
0.75 ounce Lime Juice
0.5 ounce Grapefruit Cordial*
0.5 ounce Jack Rudy Tonic Syrup
1-2 ounce Soda Water
Garnish:
Grapefruit Half Slice and Dehydrated Lime
Method:
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into an ice filled Collins glass and top with soda water
*For grapefruit cordial – First: zest 3 large grapefruit, then juice the grapefruit and measure the quantity. Combine an equal volume of sugar to the grapefruit juice and heat just until the sugar dissolves. Remove from the heat and combine grapefruit zest and refrigerate for 24-48 hours. Strain the zest and retain the liquid for cocktail use as Grapefruit Cordial
