Cacao Liqueur, Hi Rye Whiskey

A PostModern Spirits original riff on the Manhattan Cocktail featuring PostModern’s Hi, Rye Whiskey & substituting PostModern Spirits whiskey barrel rested Cacao Liqueur in place of the traditional sweet vermouth. With its chocolate finish, the Cacao Manhattan can work either before or after dinner as a delicious drinking option.

Glass:

Coupe

Ingredients:

1.25 ounce PostModern Spirits Hi, Rye Whiskey
1.5 ounce PostModern Spirits Barrel Rested Cacao Liqueur
3 dash Strongwater Amores Bitters

Garnish:

Orange Peel + Brandied Cherry

Method:

Stir all ingredients together with ice. Strain into a chilled coupe.

Tasting Notes:

Balanced, sweet chocolate notes with a spicy rye finish
