A long time tasting room cool weather favorite, we had to dust off An Inside Job now that we have the barrel rested Cacao Liqueur. This update has only intensified the warm chocolate notes in the cocktail and makes for a subtle foil of the drier style Straight Malt Whiskey. The orange, chai and vanilla meld nicely with the barrel rested Cacao Liqueur to make for a complex and fun fall cocktail.

Ingredients:

PostModern Spirits Cacao Liqueur 1.5 ounce
Vanilla Infused PostModern Spirits Kore Vodka 1 ounce
PostModern Spirits Straight Malt Whiskey 0.5 ounce
Orange Juice 0.75 ounce
Chai Syrup** 0.5 ounce
Strongwater Amores Bitters 4 dash

Garnish:

Dehydrated Orange

Method:

Shake with Ice and Strain into an ice filled Collins Glass.

**Chai Syrup – 1 cup sugar, 1 cup water – heat to a boil and steep 1-2 chai tea bags in hot liquid for 10 minutes. Strain and retain syrup. Keep refrigerated.
